Triathlon and The Apocalypse

The attacks to our blog stopped today for a while.  This is the second time we had attackers; they last for about two months or so and we end up in porno sites.  Perhaps people do not call it attacks but they are.  Ignorance is eating us just as Professor Michael Porter says regarding the first debate between Trump and Clinton:

Losing competitiveness is in all areas; skills and education are areas falling not just in the USA as Porter mentions, but in the first world countries and we see in Triathlon.  The inability to see this reality is what we see and not as Porter puts it: “unwillingness to see reality.”  Trump and Clinton cannot see this reality due to their lack of education to overcome their “white privilege.”  This inability to see reality is also in Medicine and there are a few that take advantage of this situation to sell garbage.

To follow with this apparent non sequitur because the videos do not correspond to the internet address (there were not available for the blog by youtube) but you can see them in another window, we were following Mauricio Mendez Cruz who became Xterra Champion, and 70.3 Champion in Cozumel and Los Cabos.  We remembered when he used to compete against our athletes.  One of our athletes, a year older than him, won on occasions over him.  We have read some interviews and his blog, but we have not found where he decided to leave the country that happened at the same time that the FMTRI started with the “marcas mínimas” and the control of athletes.  He did not go to camps with the FMTRI and stopped competing in the Nationals.  He and his father decided to take a more difficult road and away from the FMTRI, he stopped competing in draft legal triathlons when he was a junior.  I bet that the road was taken due to the ignorance and abuse that prevail in the Mexican Federation.

Thanks Porter for your insight!  Good luck, Mauricio!
